B) Information collected automatically: Device & usage data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, referring URLs) and cookies/similar tech used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security.

C) Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers. We may receive limited billing details such as billing name/email, partial card info, and subscription status.

4) How We Use Your Information

We use information to provide and operate the Service, process payments and manage subscriptions, improve features and performance, communicate about updates and support, detect fraud or policy violations, and comply with legal obligations.

5) AI Processing & Model Providers

Agent Book Writer provides AI-assisted writing, formatting, and publishing support tools. Outputs are generated based on user inputs and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You're responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.

3) Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Pricing, tiers, and usage limits are shown at checkout or on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy below.

4) Acceptable Use

You agree not to: violate laws or infringe intellectual property; generate or distribute illegal content, hate, harassment, or sexual content involving minors; reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or bypass security; upload malware; impersonate others; or use the Service to generate content that violates platform policies you publish on (including Amazon KDP rules).

5) User Content & Responsibility

You are responsible for what you upload, generate, publish, or distribute, and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws and platform policies. You agree to review and edit AI outputs before publishing.

6) Ownership & License

You retain ownership of your inputs (prompts, manuscripts, uploads). To the extent allowed by law, you own your outputs generated from your inputs. However, outputs may be similar to content generated for other users, and we do not guarantee outputs are unique or non-infringing. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide and maintain the Service.

7) Intellectual Property (Our IP)

The Service, software, UI, branding, and underlying systems are owned by Agent Book Writer and/or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or provide access to the Service to others as a paid product without permission.

8) Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate third parties (including Stripe and AI providers). Their terms may apply.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee acceptance of your books by Amazon KDP, rankings, sales, reviews, income, error-free outputs, formatting, or compliance.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may cancel anytime.

12) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Refund Policy

You can cancel anytime in your account settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period.

We offer refunds within 14 days of first purchase only if you have used fewer than 20 credits/exports and have not materially used the Service. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible.
